The Blizzard

Yesterday morning my husband, who as a teacher is enjoying a nice spring break, dropped me off to work, like he does every day. At that point the ground was still clear and it had only started snowing. During the afternoon the snow free downtown Denver turned into this.

Not my bike.

Visibility zero.

Denver tall buildings, somewhere there.

First floor home got covered.

And the same thing seems to be happening again. Yesterday roads and Denver airport were closed, today everything is sparkling with the sun and the melting snow and ice. What a difference does a day make. My mom and my brother are flying from Finland to visit us this Saturday, I need everyone to keep their fingers crossed that Colorado is to going to show it’s best sudden weather change tricks.
