Autumn Pastels

Grasslands autumn.

Grasslands autumn.

Another unknown plant thing.

Dry remains of a summer.

Dry remains of a summer.

Soft.

Soft.

It doesn’t always have to be mountains, alpine lakes and hiking. I’m somewhat of an introvert. After a rough week and a Friday night at friends place I needed recharge time. Yesterday we did absolutely nothing, ordered pizza, proceeded to eat it in bed while watching “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (the only television show I like). It was a much needed, relaxing Saturday. Today we’ve been way more active. After grocery shopping we took a short drive to Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. We did see the bison again, but what caught my eyes was the subtle beauty of the grasslands preparing for autumn. This time I barely paid attention to all the cute bison, deer and prairie dogs, but kept staring at the ground and commanded the husband: “Stop the car! There’s another pretty shrubbery!”

Wonderful photographs of plant things! The muted colours are restful.

Erittäin kaunis! I especially like the third one down. I have a picture of a similar dead plant haha, but the depth of field in that one is really nice. Good work!
