The Penasco Blanco trail was the longest one, but very easy. We chose it because we wanted to see the Supernova Pictograph. We also got lucky. It was raining both behind us and in front of us while we were on the trail, but we didn’t get wet. The only challenge was on our way back, when the rain storm had turned out trail into slippery, heavy mud and after being awake for over 30 hours, my boots started to feel a bit heavy…
